For those who aren't familiar with the Stonewall Kitchen brand, Stonewall Kitchen Maple Chipotle Grille Sauce is a great "introduction" sauce to try. This blend of sweet maple combined with spicy chipotle peppers makes a wonderful addition to just about any type of meat. In fact, I was actually quite surprised how the two flavors (hot and sweet) blended into such a lovely grilling sauce.
One thing I learned early on with Stonewall Kitchen Maple Chipotle Grille Sauce is that it doesn't work so well directly on the grill. The sugars in the sauce tend to cause the meat to burn, making it a better finishing sauce than actual grilling sauce.
However, the flavor is absolutely spectacular! We have served it to guests who weren't particularly fond of spicy foods but found Stonewall Kitchen Maple Chipotle Grille Sauce highly enjoyable. (My young children enjoy it without the spiciness burning their mouths.)
Stonewall Kitchen Maple Chipotle Grille Sauce is great for chicken, steaks, pork tenderloin, and more. This sauce is also a great way to "kick up" baked beans, meatloaf, and other items not necessarily linked to traditional barbeque flavors.
Where Can Stonewall Kitchen Maple Chipotle Grille Sauce Be Purchased? Stonewall Kitchen Maple Chipotle Grille Sauce is available at most specialty grocers. It is also available online from such websites as StonewallKitchen.com and Amazon.com.
What is the Price Point for Stonewall Kitchen Maple Chipotle Grille Sauce? Stonewall Kitchen Maple Chipotle Grille Sauce comes in an eleven (11) fluid ounce bottle. The price per ounce rate for this barbeque sauce ranges from $0.60 an ounce to $0.75 an ounce.
Verdict? Stonewall Kitchen Maple Chipotle Grille Sauce is a great finishing sauce for beef, chicken, or pork. It also makes a great addition to baked beans and other side dishes. Those who do not like spicy foods will probably be surprised by its mild flavor.
