In today's economy, the cost of going out to eat has been keeping many people at home, myself included. Every once in a while, I decide to treat myself anyway. I often use this occasion to visit Stool Pigeon's because the prices are adequate, and the people are friendly. I can get a meal, a drink, and play a few games of pool on just $30. Many people would spend this much on dinner alone at other restaurants.
One thing that I look at closely when eating out, is the cleanliness of the dining area. I found this location to be spotless. I noticed employees cleaning tables in just seconds after patrons got up to leave. The floors were spotless and the eating utensils shined brightly, giving this restaurant my 5-star review.
The quality of the service is also wonderful. The food came to the table quickly, and I did not have to wait until my glass was completely empty to get another drink. The wait staff had one coming before I got the chance to request it. Food quality being just as important, I can say that everything I have eaten there, from appetizer to dessert, tasted terrific. I never had a problem with temperature, taste, nor presentation.
Another consideration for some patrons may be the entertainment and atmosphere of a dining establishment. This is a sports bar, and there are televisions in every corner with different sports channels being broadcast on each. If watching sports isn't your thing, there are billiards tables in a separate section of the building, so you can practice your aim without worrying about disturbing anyone.
All in all, if you are looking for a reasonably priced eatery with good food, friendly people, and entertainment, I would check out Stool Pigeon's.

Post a CommentI've heard about stool p's a lot but I've never been. I live in the west end and don't often like to make the drive into "the city" but the review was great I'll certainly consider stopping by there for a meal and a drink! thanks =)
