In many situations when dealing with car auctions there are times you must pay an auction entry or membership fee to take part in the auction. There however are ways you can avoid paying these sort of fees or other such things which can cut into your final bid sale earnings. The best and probably most well known method is to register with a free car auction. Free car auctions are a huge plus due to the fact that anyone can usually join the auction and there is no fee. Free car auctions are excellent places to go to obtain that car you have always been dreaming about. Also, free car auctions are excellent ways to go about getting wonderful luxury cars that are normally very expensive for a very low price.

What kinds of things might one expect to see at a free car auction? Some things you might find are vehicles which are cheap in cost. Also you will likely find that there is more to choose from if you are a buyer because it is free to take part in. Paid auctions tend to have a little lesser selection, but the quality of the merchandise is usually better. By being better we mean that the vehicles have no rust, dents and other possibly apparent defects. You can also expect to see cars that look good but are really pieces of crap; as well as lots of people crowed all around in one building bidding against other bidders.

Just because it has one or two little dings, dent's or scratches you may be able to save hundreds if not thousands of dollars on your car. Which you can go to your local auto parts store and get some scratch remover to get rid of the scratches and a $20 apparatus that will get the dings out. Now you tell me is it worth it?

Probably the biggest plus side to free car auctions is that you don't get any commission from the sale taken off the top before you get your money. Many paid car auctions take their cut off the top even after you have paid to take part in the auction. So, you are not only saving on commission loss you are also going to save on entry costs to the auction. That can be a major headache sometimes with other auctions. As they say " you have to pay to play" you start spending money before you even see the cars that are up for auction.

As is with any auction, it is wise to get an idea of the auction and it's target audience before putting something of yours in an auction all together. For example say you want to sell something, but don't know much about car auctions. You could end up paying to be in an auction you don't need to be in and can get your bid item in auction for free. So before you consider putting your car in an auction, look around and see what kinds of auctions are out there taking place so you can make the most and best of your money and sale.
