Stop Hating Those Curls; Reasons to Love Them and Their Advantages

Curls Pay Off

Angel Vee
Do you love your curls? Of course not, but you should. A majority of people who have natural curls always seem to complain it's too frizzy, texture is wild, I have no shine, the knots are out of control, my hair looks dry and dull, too much breakage, and even my curls don't lay right.

Why are you complaining so much? Yes, having curly hair can be time consuming sometimes, but trust me being a professional beautician with naturally curly hair you really should love them and totally appreciate them. Here's why.

Variation Of Styles

You want to wake up late and still have a perfect style that's fun, easy, and fast you can. Messy bed head looks are so in. Roll out of bed, spritz the hair with some sea salt to revitalize the curls and viola your done.

Curly hair can be worn in ringlets, ponytails, updos, half up half down, blown out straight, with a headband, in a bun, hair up with a clip, flip through ponytail, in a bob, loose beach waves, curly with bangs, messy knots, retro style, layered and stacked, you name it with curly hair it can be done as long as you get the right haircut.

People Pay To Have Curls

Ever go somewhere after making your curls look great and so many people compliment on it? This happens all the time with my curly hair. No matter where I go, people are always saying how lucky I am because they either have to pay for a perm or use a hot iron, rags, pins, rollers, braiding, knots, foils, curling irons, use pipe cleaners, or glob on loads of hair products. These methods take time, especially if your hair is pin straight.

Another thing about having curly hair is you don't have to worry too much about having flat hair especially at the roots.

Eew! The Weather Got My Hair Down

If it's raining, snowing, hailing or 100 degrees with humidity, curls just get curlier. Yes, they might get a little bit frizzy, but it's better having frizz than looking like a drowned rat and having your hair so flat against your head.

How About Sweating?

Ever work out at a gym and sweat so bad your dripping from head to toe? Of course you have, but how's the hair? If you have curly hair the sweating doesn't really affect it too much. It may get curlier or loosen up a tad but it still looks good. While people with straight hair are staring at your curls wishing their hair was curly at this moment.

The Pool

Don't you wish once you came out of the pool or ocean your hair still looks good after shaking it out? With curly hair it can do just that. Towel dry it slightly, give the hair a shake, and scrunch with your hands. This is a huge plus for many.

Stop hating your curls, these reasons are good enough to love them and take advantage.

I used to have really curly hair, but it seems to have lost some curl. Now it is wavy with a few curls unless I use mouse, hairspray and scrunch it while blowdrying. I do love how versatile my hair is, though. It's not so curly that I can't straighten it. It looks like you have very curly hair in that picture. Pretty.
