A Guide on How to Stop Procrastinating

A d
There are a lot of New Year's resolutions to choose from, but there are only some that are realistic goals for the year. One resolution that is realistic and can apply for many people is to stop procrastinating.

For starters if you don‟t know what procrastinating is, it is waiting a long period of time to finish or get something done. There are many students that procrastinate, some go day to day waiting until the last minute to get some-thing done or even start something. The reason for procrastinating is known to be because of the attitude of some people. For example, a procrastinator has the "I‟ll do it tomorrow" attitude, and someone who is not a procrastinator has the "I‟m going to finish this and have it done" attitude.

There are many things that people leave to the last minute to do; from homework to your job and from the smallest task to the biggest project. It is proven that the successful people in the world are not procrastinators, and to get a good grade or to get a promotion you cannot procrastinate because chances are that you won‟t get a good grade or a promotion, and you will not succeed as much as someone who isn‟t a procrastinator. If you are a procrastinator there are ways to change that and make the year ahead better, like to always start something that you finished before it is due so that you can prefect it and make it your best. Also if you start to wait until the last minute to do something again be sure to get it done "ASAP". It also is to your advantage to tell people what your resolution is so that they can keep you on the right track and make your resolution a reality.

There are a lot of New Year‟s resolutions to choose from but if your resolution is to stop procrastinating just get everything done earlier than the due date is and have the "I‟m going to finish this and have it done" attitude.
