Stores Open New Year's Day
All the major stores open on New Year's Day so I can do last minute shopping for my son's birthday. Stores open on New Year's Day include Walmart, Best Buy, Kmart, Macy's, Target and Kohls. Most are open regular hours. My local Kohls is open on New Years day until midnight! I was amazed to find out how many stores open New Year's Day.
Banks, government offices and most businesses are closed on New Year's Day. Just a decade ago, it was difficult to find stores open New Years Day. Now there are a variety of shopping options. For last minute shoppers like myself, it is great to see stores open New Years Day. I hope to score some serious deals later.
To find out the hours of stores open on New Year's Day, I would call first. Every location is different when it comes to stores open on New Years day and their hours. Stores open New Year's Day in New York might not be open where you are.
I was glad to find out Kohls is open late. I guess I know which of the stores open on New Year's Day I'll be visiting later. Now I have to make his traditional birthday carrot cake...
