Stoudemire's Restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona is situated downtown right across the street from US Airways Arena, home of the Phoenix Suns. In fact, Stoudemire's is run by one of the Suns stars, Amare Stoudemire. Stoudemire's is a great place to grab a gourmet salad, sandwich, or burger for lunch at a moderate price. Stoudemire's is family friendly, but it is also a perfect spot to take a client or colleague for a business lunch. Businessmen, attorneys, and bankers from the nearby Collier Center frequent Stoudemire's because of its central location.

Everyone can find something good to eat at Stoudemire's. The menu features about half a dozen salads. Also featured are a variety of sandwiches and burgers. Dinner entrees include grilled salmon, seared halibut, filet mignon, and several varieties of chicken. The dessert menu, however, is a little sparse. Only three desserts are offered: an ice cream cookie sandwich, chocolate cake, and key lime cheesecake. The lunch menu items are moderately prices. Each item runs approximately nine dollars and up. The dinner entrees are under $20 with the exception of the filet mignon, which is $24. There is also a daily chef's special which is often some form of seafood.

Service at Stoudemire's is excellent. The waiters and waitresses are always friendly and responsive. The restaurant is quite large compared to its downtown competitors and there is rarely a wait, even during the busy lunch time hours. The only time that Stoudemire's may involve a wait is right before Suns or Diamondbacks games.

Stoudemire's is not the best atmosphere for watching big games on television. The televisions behind the bar are small; however, they are in HD, so if you can get a good seat at the bar it can be enjoyable. Stoudemire's also closes at 9:00 pm, so it is not the place to plan to go to catch a late night game. The décor is relatively upscale, however, and is quite enjoyable and lively during the day.

Stoudemire's takes reservations and also offers catering services. The catering service is available for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and also offers a hosted or cash bar. This is a great catering option for downtown Phoenix businesses as Stoudemire's is centrally located on 3 South 2nd Street and connected to the Collier center.

If you are lucky and visiting Stoudemire's around game time, you may be able to catch a sports star at Stoudemire's. Amare Stoudemire has been known to stop in, and Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb has recently visited.

All in all, Stoudemire's is a safe bet for any occasion.
