If there are only two people who are going to eat a meal then why spend $10 on ingredients for one meal when you can get a meal, all ingredients included, already assembled for you for $5? Stouffer's Skillet meals are a great alternative to meals from scratch when you are in a pinch or if you find yourself only needed a meal for two. These bagged meals are designed to feed two people per bag, and only cost around $5 (this is based on prices in Michigan, prices may vary).
One of the best versions of these Stouffer's Skillets meals is their Chicken Alfredo. This meal features seasoned grilled white meat chicken, alfredo sauce with garlic and black pepper, penne pasta, broccoli, carrots, and peas. Besides for offering meat, pasta, vegetables, and sauce all in one bag, Stouffer's Skillets are also easy to prepare.
All you have to do is place the contents of the bag into a skillet large enough to hold them, cover, and let cook over medium heat for around 8 minutes, then you stir, and let cook for an additional 8 minutes. This means that your whole meal is ready to eat in about 16 minutes from start to finish. So if you find your stomach growling after a long day of work, and need something to quiet it down in a hurry, Stouffer's Skillets is a great solution.
No matter how easy a meal is to prepare, what ingredients it contains, or how cheap it is, it isn't worth purchasing unless it taste good. Well, Stouffer's Skillets Chicken Alfredo is worth the purchase. If you like alfredo, then you will like, if not love Stouffer's Skillets Chicken Alfredo.
The sauce is so creamy and smells delicious, you're mouth will be watering before the Stouffer's hits the plate. Even though the ingredients are precooked to allow a faster preparation time, nothing gets mushy or dry while being cooked the second time around, in your kitchen.
So, if you're looking for something delicious, affordable, and quick, give Stouffer's Skillets Chicken Alfredo. Bon appetite!

Post a CommentGreat review and accurate! I love these meals, especially the referenced Alfredo one. It is good as is, but if you want to take it up a notch, do the following: Add in a little fresh broccoli and/or fresh asparagus spears and a squeeze of a lemon at the beginning of the cooking and top it all with some grated Parmesan as you plate it up ready to serve. My family raves!
I have not tried this one yet. I have to admit I am a big fan of Hamburger Helper. I am sure I would like this as well.
