Stouffer's Welsh Rarebit

Welsh rarebit, a cheddar cheese sauce combined with some mild spices, tastes wonderful on all types of foods. Much like fondue, Welsh rarebit is wonderful as a dip. While Welsh rarebit may be home on toasted bread, it can be used in a variety of ways and can even double as a cheese sauce for pasta.

Stouffer's Welsh rarebit is great - especially for those who want to add some flair to their buffet offerings without having to spend a lot of time or money doing so. In fact, 4-1/2 servings (each 1/4 cup) come in each box of Stouffer's Welsh rarebit. It heats up in just 3-1/2 minutes in a microwave. Even in a conventional oven, the Welsh rarebit will be done within 25 minutes.

The price for a carton of Stouffer's Welsh rarebit varies throughout the country, but expect to pay around $2.50-3 for each box; that price means each guest will enjoy a serving of Welsh rarebit for approximately 60-65 cents.
