Strange Things You Can Cook with a Deep-Fryer

Growing up in the south, I've seen and eaten some weird things for one of two reasons. 1.) I was open minded, and was curious of how it would taste. 2.) I was young, my grandmother cooked it, and if I refused to eat it my mom and dad would have something to say about it. I wish my grandparents served some of this stuff:

Deep Fried Ice Cream.

Uh...Deep-Fryers are hot, correct? Ice Cream tend to melt as it gets warmer, no? I guess if you have some dry ice on hand, and have the ability to stop time, you too can have yourself a bowl of Fried Ice Cream.

Deep Fried Anything-On-A-Stick.

If you can impale it o a wooden stick, you best beleive it can be deep fried. besides the obvious, you can deep fry Spaghetti and Meatballs. I'm temped to visit the state fair this year just to see if any of the venders will try selling such a thing.

Deep Fried Fruit.

Question: what if the apple tree in the Garden of Edan had a Deep-Fryer near by? Do you think this would deter Adam from eating forbidden fruit?

Answer: Nah! Eve would have deep fried the entire tree if given the opportunity.

Deep Fried Cheesecake.

one desert dish with an identity issues, plus 30 or so spring roll wrappers equal one &$%#ed up recipe. What's the fascination with trying to improve on a product that's already quite good? It'd make more sense to me if people deep fried tattered lampshades, cable bills or anything else of limited use.
