Stream of Consiousness Response to "The Lovely Bones"
In a moment I'll renew my vows to this earth -
taking in each feeling by skin, teeth and handfuls;
mindful of what comes after.
But for now,
for now, let the mourning of the mind overtake the waking hours with a new kind of dream-
to be lived, spoken, danced and... discarded
before the fitful embodiments of the dream itself carry the body into a night never seen by these eyes.
A night deep and heavy enough to displace, once and for all.
