Street Fighting Professional Protesters Ramping Up for "Summer of Rage"

Could the London G20 Summit Be Kick Off of Worldwide Violent Protests?

Michael J. Bernard
London's Guardian is reporting that top level London Law Enforcement is preparing to counter what signs point may be a summer of great discontent in one of the World's leading financial centers.

Along with increasing organizing activity and networking among some of Britain's leading "professional protesters" is an apparent resurgence of the neo-nazi Combat 18 group, which is looking to foment dissent directed at various foreign groups.

The question is--if the G20 summit in London is of the sheer mass that Law Enforcement are indicating, will this have a boil over effect onto the European Continent, The United States, or other major countries?

In the United States there are already movements underway by grassroots organizations such as ACORN to use civil disobedience and mutual aide to combat the evictions of families from foreclosed homes. Some far-right groups have called for a "Taxpayer's Strike". The UAW has hinted at using all available options in reserving their choice to ignore attempts to renegotiate their contracts with the Big 3 Detroit automakers until their current contract expires in 2011. CNBC's George Santelli called for a "Chicago Tea Party" last week to overwhelmingly positive response on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange after the Obama Housing Plan was announced.

Europe, which has a much more expansive history in civil unrest and violent anti-government demonstrations, has already seen French workers strike, violent protests in Germany, and many other groups and conditions teetering on the brink due to the current Worldwide Economic Crisis.

If there is not immediate results of the various worldwide "stimulus packages" and "bailout" programs, if relief for unemployment, the freezing of the financial markets, stock market woes, and the real estate collapse are not found, there may be an unprecedented revolt of citizenry the world over, including the United States.
