PREVENTING STRETCHMARKS DURING PREGNANCY

All women want beautiful skins. We want to make sure that we are happy with our skin and our significant other is attracted to it, too. Some of us make a conscious effort to care for our skin and some of us don't. Stretch marks-one of the fears of pregnant women! We want to have babies, but still look great, too. So how do we prevent stretch marks, that are nothing more than our skin losing elasticity during a rapid growth, forced stretching, and fast weight gain?

Here are some tips:

  1. Exercise sit-ups before you get pregnant. Prevention is the best medicine.
  1. Eat healthy in order to balance the weight gain. Weight gain is what makes the skin stretch and lose its elasticity.
  1. Use a moisturizer and drink plenty of water. Hydrated skin stays healthy and strong.

Hydrated skin repairs itself easily (http://www.ehow.com/how_2164811_prevent-stretch-marks-water.html)

  1. See a dermatologist to find different ways of treating them once you have them. Remember that this is a cosmetic issue and the cost for these treatments can be high. (http://www.babycenter.com/404_how-can-i-get-rid-of-stretch-marks_2432.bc)
  1. Vitamin E lotion or oil massaged to the area will improve your skin.
  1. Use BIOSKINCARE CREAM-triggers production of collagen and elastin (http://www.abateit.com/stretchmarks/preventing/)
