Stride Spearmint Chewing Gum - the Ads Are True

I am always on the prowl for new gum. I get dry mouth easily, so to keep my mouth moist (and kissably fresh because you just never know when you may get the opportunity to do some serious lip-locking) I seek out chewing gums and mints with long lasting flavor. These chewing gums and mints also have to be the kind that makes my mouth feel moistened, not coated and in need of water.

When I first saw Stride gum in the store, I immediately purchased it and hoped for the best. I was not disappointed. The spearmint version of this gum not only has a pleasing and long-lasting flavor, but my mouth feels truly fresh and moistened. Everyone I share this gum with is also becoming converted to the benefits of this fantastic spearmint gum.

The flavor is strong, but not almost-obnoxiously strong like Altoids. Stride holds up well while you savor the flavor, unlike some gums that begin to deteriorate quickly while you chew them.

Just one piece of this gum is sufficient to keep the gum snappers and small bubble blowers happy. To blow bigger bubbles, a second piece of Stride gum may be needed.

The gum comes in small thick sticks, in both sides of the package that you open up like a book on its side. There is a perforated line between the two sections, so if you use up the bottom section of gum first you can rip it off the package, and close up just the top section. I think that is a pretty nifty feature. There are 24 pieces of gum in each package. The price, at least around here, has ranged from 88 cents to $1.09.

At first, I had a difficult time finding this gum, but now with the addition of new flavors and perhaps how much my son and I buy it, I have found one store in town that keeps it in stock. Everyone we have shared this gum with loves it and buys it now, too. It is definitely worth trying.
