The word prevent means: to keep from happening or arising, to act against an attack, to shut out.

These Tips will help you to shut out the attacks.

Avoid Tobacco: Stop smoking, and try to get others around you to stop smoking too. It might be hard to stop, but it could mean life or death if you don't stop.

Choose good nutrition: Eat a healthy well balanced diet. I know the word diet is scary, but it just means that you need to avoid some foods, and limit others. The foods you choose should be rich with vitamins, minerals, fiber and other nutrients, but with lower calories.

Reduce cholesterol: Cholesterol can also be reduced by eating the proper foods, which will help in reducing your weight. So eat a diet full of vegetables, fruits, whole grain and high - fiber foods, fish, lean protein, and fat - free or low - fat dairy products will help to reduce your risk of stroke. You also need to get moving walking, biking, swimming, and running just get moving.

Low risk: LDL levels should be less than 160 mg/dl

Intermediate risk: LDL level should be less than 130 mg/dl

High risk: LDL levels should be less than 100 mg/dl

Healthy Weight: Avoid being over weight, and if you are over weight already start a healthy plan today to start losing the weight. Please seek doctors advice before starting your workout, and if it's OK start working out right away.

Manage Diabetes: Through weight loss, healthy foods, exercise and your doctors advice you can manage your diabetes.

Reduce Stress: Reducing stress can be just hanging around positive people, and dropping the one that cause stress in your life.
