New England Patriots- Led by the best quarterback in the league the Patriots have to be the favorite to win it all. They have yet to lose a game and have one in the one or two games where they have been tested this year. They have an incredible receiving core with Randy Moss and Donte Stallworth. They have dominated most of their opponents this year and appear to be on a mission to prove just how good they are.
The Indianapolis Colts- With only two losses so far this year, and with a number of key players hurt during the season, you would think more people would be talking about the Indianapolis Colts. The Super Bowl champs have been overshadowed though, by the great play of New England. Peyton Manning is arguably the best quarterback in the game and he still has a number of weapons around him. Sure Dwight Freeney is hurt, but as long as #18 is behind center, they have a shot to win it all.
Jacksonville Jaguars- The Jacksonville Jaguars have proven they are a team to be reckoned with. David Garrard has had a very efficient season only to be overshadowed by Brady and Manning. They have a team with a great one-two punch at the running back positions. Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor are a powerful combo and the Jaguars have proven that they can win against good teams. Are they a step below the Patriots and the Colts? Right now you would have to say yes. But don't count this team out.
Pittsburgh Steelers- At 9-5 the Steelers look poised to win their division again this year. Big Ben is one of the best quarterbacks in the league and this is a guy who has one it all before. They have a solid running game with Willie Parker and a pretty good defense.
Don't forget about others. With so many dominant teams you can forget about some others. San Diego is coming on strong and has the best running back in the league in Tomlinson. The Browns have look good this year and gotten solid production out of Jamal Lewis. The Titans have a great defense and a solid running game. Any of these teams could do some damage if in the playoffs!
