Strong Women Can Lead Anyone

The late 20th and 21st century will prove that women can be effective leaders. Society is seeing more and more women leading major US companies. If you look at successful women such as: Martha Stewart, Oprah Winfrey and Carolyn Kepcher, you will find that women are leading the way in modern day society. We are living in a day in age where more and more women are becoming successful real estate agents, doctors, lawyers, construction workers, police officers and other positions. If you are a woman, then this century may prove to be the greatest moment in history that women have ever seen.

In past centuries, women were often discriminated against for positions that most men were known to hold such as: military soldiers, bouncers in bars, maintenance supervisors and chef's. In today's society, you will find that many women are holding these positions and doing them quite well. There will always be some sort of discrimination in the world in which we live, but it is becoming more and more evident that women are working mostly everywhere that men are.

There are literally thousands of women that lead American businesses in today's society. Most women are strong leaders because they have been trained by leading colleges and trade schools. Women have learned that they can be who they are and lead a company into success. Years ago, women were forced to traditional jobs that were mainly held for women. These jobs included: sewing, house keeper, nail technician, hair stylist and other positions. Women have stepped far beyond those days and now nobody can assume the position in which they hold. Women have struggled to fight for the jobs that they wanted and tend to keep.

Women are becoming more leadership minded as the year's progress. We may even get to see woman US President soon for the first time. There is speculation from the media that Hilary Clinton may decide to run for US president in the next election. If this she wins the presidential race, then she will become the first woman president in US history. This will prove that the minds of Americans are changing in the way in which we conduct United States affairs.

If you are a woman, then I suggest that you think of this century as your century. This century will prove to be a great breaking stone for modern day women. I believe that this century will prove that women will be treated as an equal to all professions, just as men are.
