Student Friendly Spots to Eat in Brisbane, Australia

SJD
For those of you who have been a student in the past or are currently a student you know what it is like to feel the pains of a budget the majority of the time. However, as a student you don't have to spend an arm and a leg to enjoy a nice meal out. As long as you aren't eating out every single night then you have every opportunity as a student to enjoy a nice meal every so often. This is why it's so important and helpful to know where the reasonable and affordable spots are to eat while still enjoying the food. As an International student studying in Brisbane, Australia I have had the opportunity to investigate some of these spots and have put together a top list of where to go for those looking for student friendly prices. Bon Appétit!

Coffee Club - 123 Albert Street

This tasty restaurant is located right on the River Walk with a beautiful view of Brisbane's River. There are plenty of items to choose from; Sandwiches, Salads, Pizzas, Fish and Chips, Hamburgers, and so on. Once you have decided on your item you will go up to the front to order and pay, and once prepared your meal will be delivered to your table. It boasts a beautiful view with tasty food. I highly recommend the Fish & Chips or Chicken & Avocado sandwich.

Pane e Vino - Corner of Albert and Charlotte Street

This beautiful restaurant is also located right on the River Walk with an amazing view of Brisbane's famous river. They serve Italian cuisine and are open for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. A favourite spot for simple but tasty Italian dishes.

Cafe San Marco - South Bank Parklands

This restaurant is also located waterfront and serves delicious seafood with varied other items. It is also family friendly, so if you are looking for a nice spot to take the family, this would be it.

F.I.X - Edward and Margaret Street

This place is open for lunch and dinner and boasts a varied menu suited to all tastes. They are closed on Sundays, but it is a popular spot to eat during the work week.

Metro Cafe - Albert and Mary Street

This Cafe is very budget friendly for students. They are open for breakfast and lunch and serve a varied menu with large sized portions.

Although, students are very budget conscious it's also nice to treat yourself out to a nice meal now and again. It's important and relaxing to take the opportunity to reward yourself after a difficult exam or assignment and enjoy some of the cuisine in the beautiful and thriving city of Brisbane, Australia.
