Two teams, a great game, and hundreds of families -- what a way to start the school year! Once again, Royal Oak is doing what it can to help its community. On Sept. 17, both the Lakeview and Warren Wood-Towers high school football teams will be playing for The Gilda's Club, and each member will wear a jersey in honor of someone with cancer.
The game tickets are $15 per person and include a T-shirt, which everyone is encouraged to wear to the event. The Gilda's Club provides support and services to those with cancer and their families. There are over 22 Gilda's Clubs across the United States. For more information visit: www.gildasclubdetroit.org
