Study Finds Europeans Have the Most Sex

Durex, a popular brand of condoms in the United States, has completed its own survey on Sexual frequency between married couples. So who is having the most sex and what did Durex's survey really have to say about frequency of sex between married couples?

According to a recent survey by Durex, married couples are having sex an average of one hundred twenty seven times a year. That is about once every three days. Married couples in the United States are having less sex than married couples in Europe. Apparently the Eastern Europeans are the most sexually active. Americans actually have the least amount of frequency at only one hundred eighteen times a year. Married couples in Hungary, Russia, and Bulgaria have sex an average of one hundred and fifty times a year. So on average they are having sex just about every other day. What is it that the Eastern Europeans know that we as American's don't? Could it be related to the fact that Americans work a minimum of forty hours a week and often work overtime? The work week in France is only thirty five hours a week. Imagine if you had an extra hour a day to do whatever you wanted...it might open up the door to the bedroom a little more often. Less stress + more time= more sex!

Seventy five percent of the people polled are happy with their sex lives. As for the other twenty five percent...you can make your own speculations on that theory. Oddly enough an average of forty-five percent of people polled stated that they have had a one night stand.(Wonder if this is the same twenty-five percent that were unhappy with their sex lives.) Couples in China, Thailand, and Vietnam claim to be the most happy with their sex lives. According to the Durex survey Russians and Fins, claim to be the least happy with their sex lives. (I'm not sure how that works out because Russians are still having the most sex!) The three countries with the lowest amount of sexual frequency between married couples is...Sweden, Malaysia, and Singapore.

The information provided by the Durex sex survey proves that married couples, on average are having more sex than single people, averaging only forty-nine times per year. In my opinion it sounds like the married couples are better off when it comes to sex. You hear a lot of married people bickering and complaining about the lack of sex, but even with one hundred and eighteen times per year for the average American couple...it sure beats forty nine times per year for the single person. If you had your pick, I think you'd take the one hundred and eighteen times per year!!! Those figures sound a lot better if you put them into comparison.

Someone once said that in life, only death and taxes are guaranteed...but for married couples-According to the Durex survey, I think you can add sex to the list!
