Study Raises Breast Cancer-Abortion Link

And you thought you could get rid of that baby problem and forget about it. Think again. Having a baby is a very serious decision to make, but choosing not to have a baby that is on the way could be a matter of life and death. And what's scary is most people don't know it.

The Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons published a study called "The Breast Cancer Epidemic." The study revealed that when looking at the seven risk factors for breast cancer, abortion was the best predictor. The study was cited in a news release by the Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer.

Why is it the best predictor? Well, abortion before the first childbirth is very carcinogenic. The study looked at people of high-class mobility in the countries of England, Wales, Scotland, Finland, and Denmark. In those countries, they discovered somewhat of a phenomenon: upper class and the upwardly mobile had more cases of breast cancer than lower class women. This was a phenomenon because the tables are usually flipped in the other direction when it comes to other types of cancers.

The reason upper class women have more breast cancer cases than lower class women in the countries studies is because career and education ambitions cause a delay in childbearing. Many women have abortions in order to ensure they continue to move forward in their educational and professional goals.

The study also showed that countries with higher abortion rates such as England and Wales should expect a substantial increase in breast cancer cases. However, in countries that have low abortion rates, which include Northern Ireland and the Irish republic, less breast cancer cases are expected. A simple decrease in abortion can lower breast cancer rates significantly as has been shown in the countries of Denmark and Finland where a decline in breast cancer cases can be anticipated due to the decrease in abortions.

But what's sad is that most people just don't know about the strong link between abortion and breast cancer risk. Doctors who perform abortions fear they might see an increase in medical malpractice law suites. But you can look out for your own health.

And this is a controversial study. If you do a web search, you'll find some people saying abortion is not linked to breast cancer and some people saying it is. But this study is saying there is a strong link. So next time you think about getting an abortion, you may want to just do a little research of your own.
