The Wildlife and Conservation program is one summer program at the University of Sydney which is specifically designed for students in an environmental area of study.

Classes of the Wildlife and Conservation program are taught by Australian environmentalists. The summer program generally includes 1-3 electives which typically transfer, for a total of 6-8 United States college credits.

The program at the University of Sydney allows students to explore rain forests, coastlines and coral reefs, as well as arid interior landscapes. Australia also offers a diverse range of physical and cultural landscapes and ecosystems.

The University of New South Wales specializes in presenting an introduction to 'Australian Wildlife and Conservation.'

The program offers an introductory level science course. Students are not required to have experienced a great amount of biological science. Students will get to experience the beautiful significance of Australia's natural heritage to its indigenous people.

Students will also spend two weeks at the University of New South Wales, approximately 20 miles from downtown Sydney. Students will learn conservation theories, including landscaped-based and natural and cultural values on conservation of biodiversity.

There will also be opportunities for summer students to see and study Australia's unique flora and fauna, including marsupials such as the kangaroo and koala.
