Stuff About Thanksgiving

Thomas Cleveland Lane
So distracted and
impacted by thoughts of
stuffing, meat and gravy, but
mostly stuffing. Yes,
the bread, not
so very much alone by
which man
doth not live. The bread
alone for which man doth
not give thanks and all
the season's warmest
wishes. Forget about
those other dishes. Pass
the stuffing, please.

The holidays don't make
me crazy, but now and
then, they make me lazy.
For that reason, for
the season, that odd man,
conjured up by the oddest
of them all
will be not out,
but gone, only to fall
far short of number
thirty-seven. Oh well, he'll
see you in 2011.

Istanbul was Constantinople , so
pass the turkey too.
