Style with Class on a Budget

Roberta Lage
It is important to know how to dress in style with class and appropriateness in your budget. The possibility of dressing with style and class may sound a bit obnoxious and pretentious; but it is not either one.

A person in great attire can open doors to opportunities and a great self-esteem. Whether a person has the "attire" and the "look" conveys self-confidence. It is a complete attire and hairstyle that complete the "look"; but some people get caught on expensive famous brand names. Let's shall not forget the "great positive attitude," as well.

The expensive known names in fashion do not mean that will look great in a work place, or an event as: wedding, anniversary, cocktail party and so on. Also, women have issues with size, a bit unrealistic goals. Some women have their closets with old clothes or clothes waiting to be worn.

Why obsess with size zero or size two? Try something that fits well. A woman does not need to be skinny, frail wearing size zero to size two.

If sizes zero or size two does not fit, try a bigger size. But the most important detail to remember is to wear something that looks great on you. An outfit that fits well looks elegant and defines a body better.

What about make up? A good make up does not need to be the most expensive name either. There are a couple of good names sold at the local drugstore or supermarket as physician, Revlon and so forth. Some hints from the great-grandma's school as natural product to keep the skin good and so forth can add to maintain a good skin.

How about men? I know men go through the same obsession and body image. Just take a peek at the Men's Health or any athletic magazine. It might be hard for a skinny man or even a heavy weight one. But a skinny man might be more problematic for being frail.

Most of my friends (I can say all of my friends) work out and practice a healthy lifestyle from diet and exercising.

How about men's products for skin, beauty and fashion hints, they can be found anywhere as well as in a more affordable place. Men also need to take care of their skin. The old days the "barber" did the skin care, after shaving. Just look at the old photos, men with nice skin and appearance.

Armani suit is the best, as far I know. But any suit made exclusive at tailor with your measurements will fit perfect and look trendy.

There is a show on TV are great resources as a guide for an average person, "What not to wear" on TLC. The show is encouraging and a great sensitive humor; it is a total make over from outfit, hair and make up. Now they have a make over to couples. Please watch it!

Another show by Tim Gunn's "Guide to Style," for a more high paid jobs; yet people have misconception that buying expensive brand demonstrate style. It is also a make over show.

Both shows are for professional people and function as a fashion guide. Stacy and Clinton from "What not to wear" transmit a great warmth and friendly along with the hairstylist Nick Arrojo and makeup artist Carmindy. She has demonstrated on men's shaving and skin care. Carmindy has a book , "Get Positively Beautiful: The Ultimate Guide to Looking and Feeling Gorgeous, " at Barnes & Noble and Amazon as well.
