Styles P's Super Gangster (Extraordinary Gentleman) is Solid
The first single off of Super Gangster (Extraordinary Gentleman) is the Swizz Beatz produced and featured Blow Your Mind. The song is one of the catchiest songs that Styles has ever done as an artist. It has serious radio potential and a very catchy Swizz Beatz provided chorus. The song is definitely one of the better tracks on the album.
Akon produced and is featured on Got My Eyes On You. The song is one of the most commercially viable songs on the album. Akon delivers a solid chorus and ad-libs throughout the song.
U Ain't Ready featuring Beanie Sigel is also featured on Beanie's latest album The Solution. The song sounds almost like the two rappers are ready to go to war with the world. The rappers trade lines throughout the solid song.
Star Of The State features Ghostface Killah. The song definitely has an early 90's Wu-Tang Clan vibe to it. Lyrically you can tell that Styles is one of the best rappers in the game. Ghostface delivers a typically colorful verse which adds to the track.
Let's Go features R&B singer Ray J. Styles P delivers solid verses and the beat is fairly catchy but Ray J just seems to drag the song down with a boring chorus.
Holiday features Dip-Set affiliate Max-B. The song is solid and finds Styles switching up his flow to adjust to the intricate guitar driven beat. The song is one of the stronger tracks on the album.
Alchemist produced and is featured on All I Know Is Pain. The beat is more synth driven than most Alchemist productions but still features a sped-up vocal sample. The song is solid.
Gangster, Gangster features Styles' fellow LOX members Jadakiss and Sheek Louch. The song recaptures the whole LOX vibe and essence.
Super Gangster (Extraordinary Gentleman) is a solid album from one of the founding members of The LOX. Styles P once again proves he is one of the strongest lyricists in the game. Super Gangster (Extraordinary Gentleman) gets 7.5 out of 10 stars. If you are a fan of Styles P, make sure you pick up Super Gangster (Extraordinary Gentleman) when it is available in stores on December 4.
