The only 'cheap' or inexpensive hair product that I like, and use all the time, is White Rain hairspray. I have used cheaper ones, such as VO5 moisturizing conditioner, and it has fallen flat for me. I see that all the time in the stores, for less than a buck.
The first time I used the Suave Naturals Ocean Breeze Conditioner, I used it with the TRESemme Naturals Radiant Volume Shampoo. I wanted to give it a good start, because I really wasn't expecting much from it.
Suave Naturals comes in a big plastic bottle. Even though it goes in slightly at the sides, it is a bottle that could slip out of my hands. As it is heavy that could do some damage.
It states on the front of the bottle that it is "Up to 2X more moisturizing, Ocean breeze infused with sea algae extract and Vitamin C, hypo-allergenic."
I turned the bottle upside down, and squeezed to get some of the really thick conditioner out. It is a pale green, and has a very fresh scent to it.
I had a good amount of the conditioner in the palm of my hand, so I put my hands together, and then ran my fingers through my hair. I made sure that the conditioner went from the scalp, to the roots, of my hair. It stayed on for 3 or 4 minutes, while I washed my body.
I then rinsed it, and my hair was tangle free. I finished off my hair by using a gel, blow drying, curling it, teasing it, and then putting it in a French twist. My hair turned about amazing.
So 4 days later I washed my hair again. This time I used an individual shampoo from a hotel. I used all the shampoo to give my hair two applications. I then conditioned my hair with the Suave Naturals Ocean Breeze Conditioner.
This time I didn't have as much volume in my hair. It was slightly flat, but tangle free. My hair had a great smell to it, and so I have to say that you do get what you pay for. This is an average conditioner, at a cheap price. If you want quality then go for a better brand. If you want conditioned hair, that doesn't have the WOW factor, but is good, then go for the Suave Ocean Breeze Conditioner. Whatever you decided you can't loose with this product.
