Recently I purchased a can of Suave Professionals Dry Shampoo Spray. I saw it in Super Walmart, and it retailed at $2.74. I bought it with many other products, and only realized it was empty, when I went to use it.
I returned it a few days later, and the lady at Customer Service exchanged it. I told her that I didn't want to leave it any longer, as she may have thought that I had used it up. She told me that she could tell, that it hadn't been filled, at the factory. That made me feel better.
I wash, condition, use gel on my hair, blow-dry it, curl it with the curling iron, tease it, and then put it in a French twist. This takes me between one and one and a half hours to do. I then take down the back of my hair each night, and pin it back up in the morning.
I try to only wash my hair every five days. The problem I have is that my fringe/bangs get greasy before my hair does. I am not sure if it is the moisturizers I use, or the sunscreen.
The Suave Professionals New Dry Shampoo Spray is supposed to "absorb oil and refresh between washes". I couldn't wait to try it on my fringe. The bottle has a net weight of 5 ounces (142 g).
Day three and my hair looked great apart from my fringe. I took the bottle and shook it. I then held it about eight inches from my forehead, and sprayed it. Next I rubbed it into my hair. I then combed my fringe, and it looked as if I had just washed it. I teased it, and then brought it down over my forehead.
On day five I was going to wash my hair, but it was the back that goes into the twist, that was greasy. I used the Suave Professionals Dry Shampoo Spray on it. Again rubbed it in well, and found that my hair, wasn't clinging together. I was able to tease it, and put it up into a French twist.
This product can be used when you first wash your hair to absorb oil, or at any time when your hair looks, or is greasy.
It states on the bottle:
"Salon Proven to refresh hair as well as Rene Furterer. Salon Quality with mineral clay, refreshes hair to prevent a greasy feel between washes.
Directions:
Shake can well before and during application. hold 8-10 inches from hair. Spray directly on oily roots. Use heat from the palm of your hand to rub in excess powder. For oil prone hair, apply on first day hair is washed to give extra volume and texture as well as to absorb all throughout the day."
As I have long hair, I wouldn't use it instead of shampooing my hair, but feel it is a great product for improving areas of my hair. I will take a bottle with me when I travel to England in August. My hair always looks a mess, after 9 hours on the plane, laying back against the headrest, and wearing a headset. I will be able to spray it on the areas that are flat, and bring my hair back to life.
I thought about letting Len have the can, but as he has short hair, it only takes him a couple of minutes to wash it. This is my new favorite product.
This can has worked perfectly and I have used it three times. It does state that if the dispenser clogs, rinse in warm water, but this hasn't happened to me.

Interesting that the clerk could tell it hadn't been filled at the factory! We once had a can of car oil that was only a quarter filled. Nice review on the product. I think Suave has great products.
Interesting, thanks! I read some of your other articles, too, but no place to comment on them. Good work!
