Terry Goodkind's Wizards First Rule is the book that the television series: Legend of the Seeker is the basis for. It is a story about Richard Cypher, The Seeker of Truth and Kahlan Amnell who must save the world from the tyrant, Darken Rahl.

When I picked up Wizard's First Rule by Terry Goodkind, I quickly became a follower of this fantastical series.

Rather than review each one of these books separately, I have chosen to pay tribute to Terry Goodkind's flowing fantasy saga. The author, in a world created completely in his own imagination, has entertained and enthralled.

All great stories have those few characters that we will remember long after laying down the books. This series has more than a few; it overflows with them.

Richard, the Seeker of Truth, must unite the lands. Richard has dissolved the Midlands Alliance and demanded unconditional surrender of all lands. Expanding the D'Haran Empire in hopes to stand against the Order.

I don't like to read a series that an author hasn't finished, because you have to wait for the author to get around to writing the rest of the series, and if you want to read the latest, you have to pay top dollar.

Possibly the two most popular fantasy series aimed at adults, The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan and The Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind have truly stood the test of time.
