One manager caught me drawing and threatened to fire me. His boss asked to see my cartoons, laughed, and told me to keep drawing. My friends and co-workers have been laughing ever since.

These pictures were taking during the two years I spent along the Tigris River in Iraq with the 502 Eng Co.

These January 8, 2009 images show the encroachment of floodwaters onto farmland along the Black Warrior River near Fosters in Tuscaloosa Co., AL. The line of trees along the left hand side of the wide angle shots mark the river bank's normal location.

This is my husbands co-worker's truck. He parked it at the office while they were working at another job site. This is what he found when he returned at the end of the day. It took the culprits three hours to cover the entire truck in colored post it notes.
