Every picture of this magestic country has been taken by me. Ireland is one of the most beautiful places in the world. These pictures were taken in 2008 while visiting my boyfriend for the summer.

Wren's day, in Irish it is Lá an Dreoilín is celebrated on December 26, St. Stephen's Day. The celebration could have druidic roots, and is practiced in Ireland, Wales and the Isle of Man.

One of Ireland's three beautiful Aran Islands, Inis Mor is reachable by ferry but seems millions of miles from everything. Ride a bike to the windy edges, get a traditional Gaelic lunch with locals or visit one of the prehistoric fortresses.

Blarney Castle is a structural icon in Ireland. The fact that a witch put the "Stone of Eloquence" in that particular castle makes a visit that much more interesting.. and that's no Blarney!

In 2009 we took a short visit to Ireland where we traveled around the Wicklow County area of Ireland visiting mountains and gardens in the area.

Sights and historic landmarks of Dublin, Ireland.

These are some pictures that I took while touring the country of Ireland

Images are from Dublin's Occupy movement. The movement is still rather small in Ireland but it has attracted lots of interest from the media either way.

A short walk from the Ritz-Carlton lies the 18th century Irish estate of Powerscourt with Italian terraced landscaping, a lake with fountains and grotto, and a magnificent walled garden.
