A 6 am phone call from my mother woke us to receive a beautiful snow fall in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Meteorologists on WJBO 1150AM say this is a once-every-30-years occurrence. What a beautiful sight!

This shot was taken in the Jean Lafitte National Park,(Louisiana). The gators surrounding are 8 or 9 feet in length... you do the math. The deer was 90 to 100 lbs. This alligator actually made a wake in the bayou as it made its way to the opposite bank.

Cinnamon grew up in a Louisiana puppy mill as a breeder dog. She is four years old and was rescued by the Russell Rescue after being taken to the pound. Two weeks ago I adopted her and now she enjoys the finer things of life.
