"Celebrating 100 years of US Naval Aviation" was the show theme for the NOPMS 6th annual model contest & show held at Fort Worden, Port Townsend, WA June 11th. Nearly 500 miniature models were on display, and modelers came from the Pacific NW and Canada.

There are multiple sites here in Dayton to actually walk in the very footsteps of the Wright Brothers.

I attended the Lunken Airport Aviation Days in Cincinnati, Ohio and along with a great 9/11 Commemoration and ceremony, I saw the Goodyear blimp land for the first time in my life. It was pretty cool!

The EAA museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin is a great weekend destination for anyone in Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, the upper peninsula of Michigan or Minnesota.
