A photo study of my pet chickens.

My chickens followed me to a part of the yard where I was cutting up a fallen branch, to watch what I was doing.

I was cutting up some wood and my chickens decided to check out what I was doing.

I still find it amazing to see so many chickens in the city. Here are my latest photos of the fowl I've seen around Phoenix.

You don't expect to see chickens in the city, but around Phoenix, people keep chickens. They wander around the yards. They cross the road. They have chicks. Take a look and see!

My mother started raising bantam-sized Cochin chickens last year. Here are some photos of their first successful brood.

A temporary refuge

This is a design of a rooster in the barnyard. If you love chickens and roosters and like to crochet the filet stitch, this project is for you!

Someone has been snatching chickens from Sharkface and Dinohead's coop. Now the duo must find the culprit and bring them to justice.

Here you will find a sampling of different breeds of poultry that we keep here on our hobby farm. This has become a fun family project!

With different color Velcro bands, I can identify my hens at a quick glance, no matter how quickly they're moving around the yard. Velcro wraps are safe, easy to adjust as the chicken grows, and remove easily.
