INDEPENDENCE

Once again Chicago's La Villita, celebrates Mexican Independence Day with their annual parade on 26th street. There are dancers, clowns, floats, live bands,queens, etc...The parade is held every year in September and last about one hour in half.

On Wednesday, July 7, 2010, the Wapsipinicon River in Independence Iowa began to flood it's banks and nearby portions of Independence Iowa.
