These are the gardens that surround the seventeenth century Japanese house. Here is a taste of spring in Pennsylvania, Japanese style.

The Japanese house and garden that is found in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park was a gift from the Japanese People in 1953. It is a seventeenth century style house, put together with no nails.

My Japanese Maple turns from purple leaves to a bold red before shedding it all for the winter. These pictures were taken right before a wind storm blew the beautiful red leaves off.

Japanese Garden is the neighboring garden to the famous Chinese Garden, Singapore. It was named as Japanese Garden, after the then Crown Prince and Princess planted 2 trees in 1970.

Japanese Garden is just across the bridge from Chinese Garden, Singapore. Japanese Garden has a lot of very unique stone lamps in the park.

I bought my house in 2001 and was thrilled when I stepped into the backyard and discovered the beautiful landscape. I really loved the Japanese Maples growing there along with the other various trees, roses, bushes, vines and flowering plants.
