Towering over the Chadwick Arboretum on the Ohio State University campus in Columbus, Ohio, Annabelle the praying mantis will grab your attention. Displayed in an OSU garden for the study of phenology, this sculpture is most impressive, and fun.

Some close up images of spiders, butterflies, bees, and predatory insects like the Praying Mantis and the super crazy looking Wheel bug. All which are beneficial to us humans. All images were taken at the end of summer, except for the Mole Cricket.

As this storm passed over us, our family huddled in the hallway praying together. The storm touched the front yard and the backyard but left our home intact. We are thankful to God for our lives and our home.
