I co-host a show called The Game and the Buccaneer post game show. I'm also the stations reporter and I cover the Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning, and USF Bulls. I also just got hired to work for Associated press radio.

This was my QRP portable Ham Radio setup from a recent camping trip to Tuolumne Meadows. Using a wire antenna strung in the trees and approximately 3 Watts of output power and CW, I talked with another station in Washington State.

The Very Large Array (VLA) consists of 27, 25- meter telescopes located on the Plains of San Agustin near Socorro, New Mexico. The VLA is the most scientifically productive radio telescope ever built.

My father, Eli Ellison, died in 2004 at age 81. Some of his memory lives on in these photographs. He was a beloved father and friend, a dedicated teacher, a World War II radio man, an athlete, and an eternal optimist.
