Most people preferred the pink rose in my previous slide show. So here are some of my actual pink roses that grew in my flower garden in southern California. The plants reached to my shoulder and bloomed year around.

Pink roses also depict grace and elegance, as well as sweetness and poetic romance. Different shades of pink also carry their own significance; dark pink roses - gratitude and appreciation, light pink roses - gentleness, admiration, and sympathy.

Some Rose Flowers

A few shots from around the city of roses.

Photos of a rose bush that my mother planted many years ago. They are the oddest roses becuase the petals change colors throughout the lifespan of the rose. It drew so much attention that random ladies would stop by our home to take pictures and ask for clippings.

I bought my house in 2001 and was thrilled when I stepped into the backyard and discovered the beautiful landscape. I really loved the Japanese Maples growing there along with the other various trees, roses, bushes, vines and flowering plants.
