150 years ago America divided into two parts, the Confederacy and the Union. I had ancestors on both sides. A lot of people did. These are My Civil War Ancestor's Photos, and just having photos from a hundred or more years ago is amazing.

My oldest grandaughter was born on January 16, 1991 and about that same time, the Desert Storm, War in the Gulf began. I saved the newspaper with headlines about the war for her. She turned 20 today and so did the 'Desert Storm, War in the Gulf'.

While serving in World War II, my grandfather Robert "Red" Bagnell took photos of everything: war buddies, displaced persons, weapons, aircrafts, and more. He drove tanks as a sergeant, serving under General George S. Patton.
