My work is on the borderline between art and design; informed by my interests in architectural history, production design for theatre and film and the work of Inigo Jones. When not drawing and painting; I read, watch film/television adaptations of Shakespeare, design and construct theatre sets, costumes and masks, visit castles, art galleries and museums and go for long walks as an alternative to lengthy periods of studio time. Adrienne FreemanI have an extensive background in sales and marketing, but recently have been using my creative skills writing about one of my personal passions, cooking and food. I write a bi-weekly cooking and recipe column for my local paper. I live in a small rural southern town and I don't have ready access to all the gourmet ingredients I would like, so many of my recipes are adaptations. I also like the science of cooking, a la Alton Brown, and I like to explain why you use certain techniques to achieve the best results. I also write feature articles on a freelance basis for our statewide paper. I love my friends and they always seem to ask me for advice - I have several "regulars" so I must be sorta good. Ask me a question!
Mary SnyderI write fiction, nonfiction and poetry. I had a book published at the beginning of 2011 about literature to film adaptations. I've raised three children as a single mother (my youngest just started college), and I run marathons.
Amber GreyMy tastes in movies and television reach beyond the stigma of gender demographic. I will passionately opt to watch the genres of action/adventure, thriller, horror, cult and comic book adaptations over "chick" flicks and romantic comedies.
