I have made San Diego my residence for 22 years. I graduated with a Bachelors and a Master's degree from San Diego State. I have followed SDSU sports since the early 90's; this passion for SDSU sports prompted me to begin www.aztalkblog.com in 2009; a blog dedicated to covering both Aztec Football and Basketball.

I am a student with San Diego State University, currently pursuing my English Single- Subject Teaching degree. I was an active contributor and eventual editor to the opinions section of my high school newspaper, and was briefly part of the features staff with my university's paper The Aztec. My interest is in revealing glimpses of my home city that even locals have to dig for. As I've lived here for my entire 23 years of life, I feel that I am, at least, somewhat qualified. I also absorb politics and medical articles, so I hope to offer a well-researched view of such findings.
