I was born in England and have lived there, in Israel, France and the US. I attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and reached graduate school in English (editing and fiction writing). I enjoy hiking, bicycling, films (especially SF) and reading. I have been a Type 1 diabetic since 1974 and have a blog about living with hypoglycemia unawareness (see below).
