I am a very passionate, dedicated and loyal sports fan from the New York Metropolitan area. My sports team "passions" are listed below and because of these passions, I have embarked on a new career path where I can both enthusiastically and entertainingly talk sports. Hello everyone! My name is Alexis. I live in an incredibly small, mountain community in the mountains of Southern California. It is a tourist town, but having been here over half of my life, I've come to realize that not many people know of it. I love writing (as a matter of fact, I have recently started on my first book. It's about business tactics, marketing tips and strategies, focusing on Network Marketing. It's kind of in a journal form because I have this idea of how to relate to my audience by allowing them to take the rags and riches journey along with me. Please, if you have any opinion on this subject feel free to email me about it because I would love to know what other people think of this idea.), I also enjoy going to the beach, Las Vegas, playing Blackjack (be it in Vegas or here in California, I love it all!), dancing (all kinds, I love going to the casino on Tuesday nights for Latin Night!), singing, traveling (although I haven't gotten to do a whole lot of that in my life so far), spending time with my children, hanging out with friends and family, going out to eat, shopping (even for groceries!) and pampering myself (such as pedicures, having my nails done or even buying products I can use at home like facials, etc.). I am 25 years old, and I have 2 children. My son is 7 and my daughter is 4. I joined here at Associated Content for a myriad of reasons, but one of the biggest is that I'm trying to better the quality of life for myself and my children. I'm not able to work outside the home because I have some medical issues now that may have stemmed from spending, up until recently, quite a few years working very hard, since my pre-teens. I have always been trying to find ways to create an income from home, in order to stay home and raise my kids, but at this point in my life it is absolutely necessary. I believe I may have found my niche here.

Nathaniel Laurant, Jr. is currently working for the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi’s Gaming Commission. Laurant is employed as the Investigations Manager who oversees the Commission’s Investigations department. Laurant has been working for the NHBP Gaming Commission since May of 2009. Laurant began his Casino career in April of 1993 when he began working in Casino Surveillance for the Hollywood Casino of Aurora, Il. While working for Hollywood Casino’s Surveillance Department he was promoted to a Surveillance Supervisor after 1 year. Since working at the Hollywood Casino, he has worked for several other Casinos including MGM Grand Detroit, MotorCity Casino of Detroit, MI, Divi Carina Bay Casino of the US Virgin Islands, and FourWinds Casino/Pokagon Band Gaming Commission totaling nearly 19 years of Casino/Gaming Commission experience. He has held positions at those Casinos that includes; Surveillance Officer, Surveillance Supervisor, Surveillance Manager, and Surveillance Director. Laurant was instrumental in assisting with start-up operations at each of the Casino’s Surveillance Departments and or Gaming Commissions. One of his many honors while working in Surveillance was for detecting and assisting the Aurora Police with the capture and arrest of a man who was robbing Casino guest at gun point. While working in the Casino Industry, he also attended several Colleges and Universities and earned an Associate’s Degree in General Studies-College of Dupage, Bachelors Degree in English – Oakland University, and Masters Degree in Criminal Justice – Columbia Southern University. In addition to earning multiple degrees, he had received training from various Casino employers that includes; Slot Machines, Blackjack, Craps, Baccarat, Carnival games, Roulette, and more. Hey there, folks! I'm just an amateur writer that found this website through a family member not too long ago. So, I figured I'd give it a shot, as I do enjoy writing as one of my hobbies. I'm the type person that likes to create different things. In fact, just within the past 10 years, I've generated such things as: a movie screenplay, several board games, a cartoon series, and of course lastly, which I just recently finished, a video game design document. Creating these things was actually quite fulfilling, as I can proudly say that they belong to me. Now, actually trying to sell them to someone, that's an entirely different experience altogether. Oh well, I just have to keep grinding away at it. Other than writing and creating, I also like to watch movies and read books. The book I'm reading at the moment is, "The Life and Times of Nikola Tesla". It's an excellent read, and I highly recommend it. Other than the activities which I've just stated, I workout at least 4 times a week, go to the casino once and a while for some Blackjack, and then starting in the next few months, back to the golf course for an agonizing day of trying to perfect my hooks and slices:) Oh, and forgive me for my pen name, as I'm sure it might seem to some as being arrogant.
