Since finding out that I have lupus I am a full time mom again. I am 43 and have four autoimmune diseases: diabetes (type1), celiac, hypothroidism and now lupus. I believe that being positive and having faith in God is the key to living-especially when confronted with illness and pain.
AMY LANEI am a proud, worn out, run-down,single mother of five exceptional children,ages 16,13,11,8 and 7 running on a continuous flow of coffee and chocolate. I am also a nanny to three children while my children are in school.I recently found the courage to escape an abusive marriage which left us homeless and penniless but with a new found happiness because we no longer need to walk on eggshells. I vow to never give up, to continue to be positive, no matter how hard our struggles may be.I want to spread the word to other women like me who are living in fear, that if I can do it, they can too. Donna GuthrieEET ME AT THE CORNER, Virtual Field Trips for Kids, was founded in 2006 by Donna W. Guthrie, the author of more than twenty award-winning books for children.
