Jennifer DannerOutdoor and alternative education is just part of what I love to do. I love facilitating groups in various outdoor activities and challenges. I have a variety of experience in education and ministry. Camping ministry is also a big passion of mine; I love to be able to help families and individuals of all ages get outside and enjoy creation away from daily distractions. Why not make life an adventure? Life is an uncharted adventure; each day is a new day to experience joy. Adventure can be either jumping from a cliff into a raging river, climbing up a 14er but often the adventure lies not within the crazy things done but in challenges lived through and learned from. I want to live my life in such a way that when I die those who reflect on my life won't say how great I am but how great God is. A road map isn't always provided when stepping into a new day, so I choose to take the truth of God's word and step into the light of every day I am given...mountains may be tall but the one who created them is bigger so I'm trekking on. The hike to the mountain tops might be long and difficult but the view is worth every pain along the way.

Claire HayMy name is Claire and I am a 22 year old woman from Boulder, CO. I have lived in Boulder my whole life up until this year, which has been spent roaming from place to place for 2-4 month stints at a time. After graduating last December from the University of Colorado with a degree in English, I spent the spring in Argentina attending an intensive Spanish program, then spent 4 amazing months in Moab, UT working for a non-profit rafting company, and now I'm in the hills of northern Vermont for a 3-month internship with an internationally-distributed literary climbing magazine. I love being outside: backpacking, snowboarding, hiking, and I'm starting to dabble in climbing. I also really love reading and writing, and I like taking pictures sometimes too.

Janell LoredoI am a California college student who loves writing about my passions. I love riding horses, music, health and fitness, cycling, yoga, swimming, being a vegan, English literature, rock-climbing, and doing just about anything active! I am a person with musical/artistic mind, scientific understanding mixed with artistic appreciation, and optimistic approach to life. I'm a deep thinker, and observant/thoughtful person and writer. I LOVE LEARNING new things. I love school and am working towards a future in pediatric nursing and classical music performance. I'm highly concerned with health and fitness. I have always been fascinated with the way the health of the body improves all other areas of daily and academic life. Currently I am an avid road/mountain biker, kickboxing student, aerobics teacher-in-training, regular gym member, English/Dressage Equestrian, yoga student, cyclist, and gluten-free vegan. I am also a musician ;) I have played piano for a total of 13 years, violin for 5, and sung my whole life. I have a passion for classical voice and plan to pursue a career in vocal performance and eventually a doctorate in music education. What better way to share my gift than by giving the gift of music to young children through music education. Growing up with three other siblings who also play piano, sing, and play various instruments has been the chief inspiration for my love of music. Music is a deeply fulfilling art form. As a Christian, music and singing become more that art to me. My musical abilities give me a unique and gentle way to touch others spiritually through ministry. I have also been blessed with opportunities to participation in numerous honor choirs, state choirs, solo/ensemble festivals, and competitions. Overall, I seek to glorify God through the gifts he has given me in all areas of my life! I love having fun, learning, and being myself! Life is a beautiful gift :) Be thankful! God bless Peace

Earl MaxwellBorn in the city, raised in the country and currently living in the suburbs--Earl is a computer science professional, but one who's not in touch with his inner nerd! While he holds an advanced degree in Computer Science and has over ten years experience in all realms of software development, his greatest interests lie in less abstract realms: boating, wakeboarding, snowboarding, fishing, hiking, camping, weight-lifting and rock climbing. Ironically, his writing interests include more abstract realms such as fantasy and science fiction. Some might think this makes Earl a mess--never really fitting into any one realm perfectly. Ask Earl and he'll tell you he's well rounded, a Jack-of-all-trades and, well, maybe just a little bit of a mess.

With normal civilian life embracing me will a little more free time, I figured that it's time to start exploring some venues of getting my work out. I am a huge outdoors person who enjoys hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, road cycling, sea-kayaking and many other activities. Earlier this year I got started in live theatre by jumping in the deep-end and taking a leading role in a play at the local theatre, which has since led to a second play, 2 short plays and now a stage-manager position. I have discovered a strong interest in theatre!
