I may be new to publishing, but I'm certainly an old hand at opinionated commentary, regardless of subject matter. My ever spinning, curious little Gemini brain is constantly jumping from one subject, issue or project to the next. While I certainly love passionate debate, I won't just sit and rattle in one's ear for an entire day, not my style. I like to sit alone and research whatever my topic du jour may be, then I'll come at you with a quick jab/punch, hit and run. Then, poof!, like a ninja I leave you wondering where I'll strike next! I am currently employed full-time as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Memphis Fire Department and I am proud member of the Memphis Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 1784. To summarize, my job gives me an overflow of subject matter for debate 24 hours a day, which just happens to equal one shift day. And I assure you, the politicians in Memphis city government could give New Orleans' best a real run for their money, or ours rather. I am also co-host and creator of The Rick Ray Show with KMart and Angel, sports talk radio on AM 730 Vernoradio, Memphis, TN. We air weekly on Tuesdays from 7:00 pm-9:00pm. You can listen live by going to therickrayshow.com and clicking the ListenLive link or click on Archives to check out all our previous shows. Prior to the fire department and EMS, I worked in the gaming industry for 10+ years as a craps dealer and table games floor supervisor. By far my favorite employer being Jack Binion's Horseshoe Casino Tunica, MS, which was also my longest tenured. Doesn't matter if you're talking public services or corporate America, they all need to learn the Jack Binion recipe for success. Best employer for which I've ever worked, and I'm only one of thousands that would agree. He knew how to foster loyalty in his employees and he rewarded for it generously. Ok, so that's me in too many and not enough words. Hope I can give you a reason to come back for another "hit and run".

I've been a computer programmer/database programmer for 15 years, and recently turned internet marketer. I live in Las Vegas and love it here. Naturally, I like the casinos, but only if there's an actual possibility of winning. Which is why craps is my favorite game. I teach dice control to a few students, and enjoy teaching others through my website and newsletters. I also teach others SEO (Search Engine Optimization), internet marketing, SQL Server, and of course - dice control.

  • Eddie Montgomery
Eddie Montgomery an ordinary guy and then again he's that that guy you passed in Wal-Mart that gave you that "that's odd" feeling that you just couldn't put your finger on. He was born in Southern California in the early sixties but grew up in the San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose Bay Area with the majority of that time spent in the East Bay. He is a 26 year Army veteran with the first six of those years spent in the California Army National Guard. He served in the first Gulf War and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He has ridden in a ship's elevator in eastern Germany and spent a snowy day in Saudi Arabia. He has driven on country roads in Kentucky and lived to tell about it. He has driven on country roads in Iraq and lived to tell about that too. He has spent the last four and a half years in northern metropolitan Fort Worth, TX. That was the longest place he has lived since he was in elementary school. Eddie is a photographer '" a record keeper of life. He is a school trained photographer and has a digital SLR camera with associated lenses and equipment but keeps his "point and shoot" with him everywhere he goes. Eddie writes about different things: photography, trivia, The Army, stock market, movies, his kids, the Inland Empire, art, craps (dice), beer, California, military history, people, Texas, glamour models, t-shirts, music, and politics. He writes about all those things with his slightly off center perspective. And he writes about what it means to be an American according to Eddie. He misses being in the Army, loves being with my kids, and looks forward to everyday he can shoot a lot of photographs. Eddie now lives in Southern California.

  • Jim Luciano
I installed computer networks, wrote curriculums, and taught classes for the Las Vegas Community College. I started a graphics business in Czechoslovakia, drove my 18 wheeler across the USA, was a craps dealer for the Las Vegas Hilton, had a company that painted the wild space scenes in the Circus-Circus Casino, owned a clinic in Brazil, owned and ran several nationally accredited adult education schools. There's a lot more in my lifetime of learning and sharing and it led to a new understanding of how and why we humans do what we do. Although I consider myself mostly an entrepreneur, when I ran schools I became curious about students of apparent intelligence, who had difficulty learning. I found answers by studying the psychology and philosophy of education, as well as language, ontological design, philosophy and more.
