  • Christopher Lewis Donohoe
I was born in Dallas, Texas and decided to move to the small town of Gunter, Texas when I was two months old. 60 days of city living was enough for me, and I opted for the slower country life Gunter could offer. I graduated from Gunter High School 17 years later and moved to College Station, Texas to attend Texas A&M University. There, I studied nuclear engineering and obtained a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering in 1996. At that same time, the US Congress put a hiring freeze on the Department of Energy which destroyed my Plan A for finding employment after graduation. There was no Plan B! I moved to Houston to find work and landed at Universal Computer Systems working on their legacy systems running AT&T System V Unix. I didn't get paid much there, but I did find that IT work could be a very lucrative career. 16 years later, I've left my engineering degree behind and pursued a career solely in IT support. Along the way, I got married, created a child, adopted three more, and we live in Klein, Texas. We are members of Champion Forest Baptist Church where we attend, serve, worship, and have many friends. My daughter loves cheer leading and my oldest son Nathaniel plays football for his third-grade team. My wife Rachael stays at home with my two youngest sons Daniel (2) and Skip (1) and pretty much runs our family schedule and finances.

Defining and understanding spiritual principles that I can use to encourage and empower myself and the people around me is my primary passion. My education is in the field of psychology and I have supplemented that with independent studies in spiritual beliefs and practices and am always seeking new information. My writing style is meant to be lighthearted and easy to understand, and many times I use humor to achieve those goals. My target demographic is anyone who has a need that they can not seem to fill and I have little or no interest in religious debates or being involved in intellectual struggles with ancient texts. While I do have a passion for speaking and writing about spirituality, I want to provide any assistance I can with practical matters from my own personal experience, so I write about parenting, finances, religious education and other miscellaneous topics.
  • Chenine Lozano
Hi everyone, my name is Chenine Lozano. The many facets of my life include being a young homeowner, newlywed and a working woman with an education in broadcast journalism. I was very much alone while making very important life decisions that required saving and spending. Through many trials and tribulations and financial ups and down, I naturally become a “lifestylist” on a budget. I am here to assist women who are in a pivotal stage of their life. While I may not be an expert on everything, I’m always looking to learn something new from my experiences. I want to share my journey to becoming a domestic diva, and hope my lessons can be yours too! This site will cover topics like moving forward with your career, finances, health, home purchases and décor, event planning and relationships… and how to look amazing while balancing all of life’s intricacies. My sense of risk and adventure caused many expensive mistakes along the way, but also brought great rewards. This inspires me to share budgeting and money saving tips for many first timers, or anyone who wants advice from someone who endures the same challenges. In addition, I want to help educate my viewers on how to effectively finish DIY projects while getting the luxurious look for less (events, fashion and décor). When you are able to reach your goals on your own accord, you become more confident, when you become more confident, you become more happy and successful! Let’s do this together! Remember, “diva” means successful woman!
