FORENSICS

I have been a cop since 2002. In that time I have worked patrol, undercover narcotics, and currently I am assigned to the computer crimes task force. I also dedicate time to assisting Immigration and Customs Enforcement as a Homeland Security Investigator. I have a background in CQC, martial arts, urban warfare, survival, computer forensics, and other specialized tactical training. I have written and self-published two free books on internet safety. I own a business which sells security, survival and military products called Internet Security Task Force.

My name is Jonathan Herman; I'm 28 years old and currently employed as a Network Administrator. I go to school online at Walden University where I'm majoring in computer information systems with a dual minor in information security and computer forensics. My future goals are to become federal law enforcement with the Internet Crime Complaint Center investigating computer crimes. During my time off I enjoy going to independent coffee shops and dining out at ethnic restaurants and diners. I'm also heavily involved in the Montgomery County Peace Project and trying to become involved in community policing.

A traveler who denies no experience, E. Allen Bergman enjoys watching the bigger picture. Writings might include any combination of things he has learned in life experiences, the U.S. Navy Submarine Force, degrees in Network Administration, Business Administration and Computer Forensics or his ability to slow down and enjoy the full moon or the unexpected smell of honeysuckle while cruising a forgotten highway in some southern state on his motorcycle. A people watcher, there is no bigger fascination than the differences in the way that people in different parts of the world interpret life and the things that surround them. Countries visited include the Philippines, New Zealand, Bermuda, Columbia, Panama, Peru, Scotland, Venezuela, Malaysia, Puerto Rico and England as well as most of the contiguous United States and Hawaii.

I am a professional video game player. I also play poker on a high level. I am currently a college student majoring in computer forensics.

I spent about forty years with the US Army starting as a Military Policeman, then a Special Agent in the Criminal Investigation Command (CID) where I retired as a Chief Warrant Officer in 1987. I returned to the Army CID in late 1987 and remained there as a GS-1811, Special Agent, until retirement in 2005. I served as Chief of Major Contract Fraud Investigative elements then as developer and Chief of Computer Forensics with the Army Criminal Investigation Laboratory (USACIL).

I am a mother of a 5yo super hyper boy. I have a bachelors in Chemistry and a masters in Pharmacology & Toxicology. Currently I am working a Research Scientist and Lab manager in a lab in the Hematology Division at UW working in the study of red blood cell development and heme synthesis. My interests include reading, cooking, and anything related to forensics

I'm a financial forensics student currently attending Colorado Technical University. My interests include economics, travel, and sports. My new found passion for writing has brought me here, where I hope to share many insightful and fun articles.

Before retiring I completed courses in biochemistry, physical chemistry, & physics. I wrote for my HS newspaper & yearbook (even had a poem published once in the book "A Spot of Purple"). After, developing an interest in forensics I know my calling.
