GARDEN LIFE

I am a wife and mother of three children. My oldest daughter was born with Spina Bifida a birth defect. Unfortunately she passed away at the age of 23, October 30th 2006 in a fire at her apartment. I have another daughter and a son. I love photography and writing. Having a child with a disability has taught me and my other children a lot. To have compassion and to be non judgmental toward others. My daughter was a very special person and touched a lot of people in her short life.

I am a married, stay at home, homeschooling, coupon clipin' mom of two. When I am not hocking my wares on Ebay and Amazon, I garden, sew, read and write. I hate drama and will do anything to avoid it.

A flatlander, RJ was born in Newton Iowa, has lived in Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa. A Viet Nam era Vet, he enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Has careers in insurance agecy management and sales, commercial real estate and economic development. RJ has been writing since grade school, his first story, read to his 5fth grade class was The Legend of the White Buffalo. A journal kept during three years in the Army has been the source of a memoir written for his family. RJ's writing experience includes a humor column for the Olathe Daily News, Olathe Kansas and commentary on the NPR station in Garden City Kansas.

I keep busy with organic gardening and living green, including healthy cooking with garden goodies. I enjoy writing about all of these, but my special interest is quilting, vintage quilts and textiles and restoring antique quilts. I write freelance for several online sources and the occasional print publisher.

I am in college at VWCC. I am majoring in Culinary Arts, I am married to my soul mate who is the love of my life and the mom to a handsome son who will be one in October. I love to cook, write, garden and spend time with my family.

Education comes in a variety of forms, private classes, workshops, lectures and public speaking as well as blog writing, and social media. I enjoy providing each of these. Technology fascinates me, as does history and people. As a small business owner for over 30 years I love to help others with marketing of small businesses and those trying to make a living in the arts. My faith has been a constant in my life. I love writing about love, acceptance and tolerance of differences.

I am a retired US Army Veteran and a family man with 2 grown children and 3 grandchildren. I take great pride in what I have committed my life's work to and I find great joy to helping anyone who is willing to help themselves.

Patrice Campbell is a freelance writer working from the Denver, CO area. As an experienced news reporter and lifestyle writer, Patrice has recently capitalized on her research skills by becoming a ghost writer for varied business across the United States. Any spare time is spent volunteering for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life, and as an advocate for ACS CAN and senior issues.

Restaurant manager, market garden proprietor and elementary school teacher are just a few of the duties I have performed in my life. The constant hum of The Writing Life has become impossible to ignore, so this is where I have landed.

I am a free-spirited, life loving woman living in the peaceful hill country of San Marcos, Texas. I have recently bought a home in San Marcos and am hoping to attend graduate school at Texas State University, as my deep caring and interest for people has led me to want to study family and community counseling. Writing, traveling, and volunteering are activities I really enjoy but don't do nearly often enough. I love meeting new people, spontaneity, change, but value the constants of friends and things familiar. I am close with my family and feel fortunate to have such amazing people in my life. I feel there is a lot of crazy things going on in the world, so I try to stay up to date and educated on many topics. However, I am optimistic about the future and 10 years from now would like to be happily married, with children, have a successful career as a counselor and mentor to others, helping anywhere I can, and a frequent traveler of the world as an enthusiast on food, wine, art, and culture.

I am a Master Herbalist, Health Counselor,and Women's Health Counselor. My husband and I also grow Moringa Trees and herbs in our new nursery. Moringa is a tree that is being used to end starvation. It is one of the most nutritious trees in the world. It is power packed with organic nutrition right off the tree. We sell the bulk leaf product and tea as well. I love writing on health, gardening & herbs. Writing is one of my passions and one of my life goals. One of my projects is to get people to start herb gardens as in the old days of this country. It is important to incorporate medicinal herbs into your herb garden for the sake of you and your family. We have just moved to a rural area where I can grow more herbs and trees. It will be an exciting year of growth.
