D.M. Murdock/AcharyaSD.M. Murdock, also known as Acharya S, was born and raised in a Protestant Christian family, a descendant of Puritan proselytizers who arrived in America via the Winthrop Fleet in 1630. Having become a born-again Christian, she sought the facts behind Christianity, which brought her many surprises. At that time, Murdock also began studying the world's other religions in earnest, although she had been interested in them since childhood, when she read avidly about Greek mythology. She was also a big fan of famed anthropologist Dr. Louis Leakey. Acharya S/D.M. Murdock is the author of "The Christ Conspiracy," "Suns of God," "Who was Jesus?" "Christ in Egypt," "The Gospel According to Acharya S" and many other works. Her work was featured in the film "Zeitgeist," along with other documentaries, magazines and journals. Her main website is TruthBeKnown.com, but she also owns StellarHousePublishing.com and FreethoughtNation.com. Murdock writes extensively on the origins of religious ideas found in "modern" religions, sects and cults, extending back into remotest antiquity as found around the world. Included in this research is the analysis of much religious ideation as "nature-worshiping" or "astrotheological," meaning that religions and mythologies have revolved significantly around the reverence of the sun, moon, planets, stars and constellations, etc. D.M. Murdock is an alumna of Franklin & Marshall College and the American School of Classical Studies at Athens, Greece.

Scripture DocA ravenous student of the scriptures since 1972, it became clear to me that original language translations (from Greek and Hebrew) didn't square with most English versions in significant ways...so significant, in fact, that people were once considered heretics for investigating what the original manuscripts REALLY said. The "heretic" label persists in some Christian circles today, when one's perspective calls traditional doctrines into question. Someone once said, "The odds of someone being right are directly proportionate to the number of people trying to prove him or her wrong." Since 1972, the operating principles that ultimately birthed the Scripture Doc project are . . . 1) The word of God was written for regular people, not just theologians...it has to make sense. For that matter God Himself must make sense, otherwise how can we know Him, and what benefit would there be in knowing Him? 2) When the word of God (or God Himself) doesn't make sense, it is our understanding that is lacking, not His word. We need to investigate, educate, expand, and adjust our knowledge, perception, and understanding. 3) The goal is to, "Endeavor to present yourself to God qualified, an unashamed worker, correctly cutting the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15) Last one: "All scripture is inspired by God, and is beneficial for teaching, for exposure, for correction, for discipline in righteousness, that the man [or woman] of God may be equipped, fitted out for every good act." (2 Timothy 3:15-16) OK, one more: "Request and it shall be given you. Seek and you shall find. Knock and it shall be opened to you. For everyone who is requesting is obtaining, and who is seeking is finding, and to him who is knocking it shall be opened." (Matthew 7:7-8) So . . .here's a forum where we look into what the word of God REALLY says, and what it REALLY means. IF you;re happy with what you've learned about God to date, this probably isn't for you; however, if you're open to what

Anita BaroneI am Italian and Greek. I am of Christian background and I love to study both Christianity and Judaism. I am familiar with the Middle East because my family (Italians/Greeks) lived in Egypt during a time of prosperity in the metropolitan area of Cairo. I attended Italian elementary schools and later American high schools. This education opportunity gave me a great background and respect for historical figures, art works and varied political views in both continents. I lived in Florida, upstate New York, New York City, Minnesota and Los Angeles. My several moves were mostly due to an unprovoked unexplained one sided custody fight. I got to experience open cultural unfairness in the County Court in which I resided. My location changes were due to my moving to where my children were being moved. I was fortunate to be hired as an adjunct instructor at Rusmussen Business College in Minnesota. I taught Success Strategies, Business Ethics and Office Procedures. Besides being familiar with the Italian culture, I know the Greek culture. My older daughter has lived and attended college in Greece. I became thoroughly familiar with financial issues that come up when making personal transactions between the US and Europe. I have a California real estate broker license. I have experience in finding retail space for business owners. I renewed my license with my focus on Foreclosures, Short Sales and REITs. I have a Paralegal Certificate from UCLA Extension and I am currently enjoying a great volunteering opportunity at the Los Angeles Superior Court. I am planning on applying to law school in the next two years or so.
Peter StaplesI have long experience as a writer and copy-editor both online and in traditional newspaper journalism, including The Times. In addition, I have worked in PR and for seven years ran my own successful business, mostly writing and designing customer-facing magazines. Clients included some major brands '" British Aerospace, Sharp Electronics, Carlsberg, and Cincinnati Milacron's UK plastics division. I am based in England but work internationally and in fact most of my client base is in the U.S. So when I take a commission the client can choose whether they want it in U.K. English or U.S. English. Photography has always been my hobby so offering it as an additional service was the natural thing to do and has worked well. I've had hundreds of pictures published online, in newspapers or magazines, or in client publications. As for me personally, I'm married with two grown-up daughters, a dog and a rabbit. I'm an incurable student, with one degree from the Open University and another under way with Oxford Brookes University. I'm also teaching myself first century Greek.

Samantha DayI was born and spent the first 18 years of my life in the UK. Having decided from a young age that I wanted to travel and leave the UK, I jumped at the chance having finished college to escape from the 'ratrace'and head to the Mediterranean. Summers working on beaches, travel office, meeting local Romeos taught me the local languages and gave me my passion for travel. Years then spent working as a holiday rep and tour guide then gave me my Bridget Jones style humour and ironically enough lifestyle! The tales I would write to my friends of a typical day for me would have them in fits of laughter and my eratic lovelife and admiration from the medallion clad Greek gods soon earnt me my nickname of 'Bridget Jones'. Having moved on to the real estate market where I have now been living for 8 years in Cyprus, I also decided to start writing a book on my life and loves as a holiday rep and how my life in Greek and Cyprus has been and is one big FAT GREEK WEDDING!
